A common phone conversation is what size light is needed for a room. This is made tricky with Lumens being the main way to measure light with LED’s and Watts for conventional for home uses causing confusion. Firstly, we like to ask what type of room you're looking to light? This is because a typical living area is lit with a warm white (a slightly yellow light) and Kitchen spaces and bathrooms are lit by a cool white (a white type light).
The next question is the size of the room, you’ll typically want to make sure for every square foot you’re getting 20 lumens. It's important to note depending on the colour scheme your space has and the type of furniture you’ll have you may need more or less light.
