Busbars are fantastic for taking a single positive feed from your battery or fuse box and distributing it to several circuits. By simply attaching your positive cable from your power source to one of the connections on the busbar you can then supply that positive feed to other circuits via the remaining busbar connections. This can be very useful if you haven’t got room to make multiple connections directly on your battery terminal or fuse box.
For this article let’s say you have 20 LED lights that you’re fitting, and you have a fuse box already installed for other circuits. You could take a feed from a spare output on that fuse box and attach it to a busbar, then connect all your lights to the busbar. If your lights draw 0.2A each (4A total) then you would fit a 5A fuse in the fuse box location feeding the busbar.
